Calling all teachers: The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Education System Recognition Dinner from the Valley Community Center. Teachers were recognized from Chambers County, West Point, K-12, Public, Private, Non-profit, Christian, and 2-and 4-year Post Secondary Institutions. Jody Fuller served as Guest Speaker for the dinner. Awards were given out to several teachers including, Dr. Mehaffey – administrator of the year, Matt Hurst – specialty teacher of the year, and Matt Mims – rookie teacher of the year.
The GVACC hosted the Inaugural Education Awards Dinner tonight. We had over 250 people in attendance from public, private, and post-secondary schools and school systems in attendance. Thank you to everyone that came out to help us recognize all the wonderful employees throughout our schools and school systems. Thank you the Valley Community Center and Kimble’s Food by Design. Thank you to our Ambassadors, Jr. Ambassadors, Board and Staff for all your hard work to make this event possible. Special thank you to our guest speaker, Jody Fuller. Looking forward to next year!
