VALLEY- On Saturday, members of Valley Community Outreach (a.k.a. The Village) held a food drive food for over 150 families from the Valley Sportsplex. Cars began making their way through just before 9 am EST. as bags of food were placed in automobiles. The event was sponsored by Givorns Foods.

Valley Mayor Leonard Riley was in attendance and lent a helping hand. Riley was the principal for many of the Village members who attended Valley High School and has always been supportive of his former students.

The Village is comprised of forty plus members that grew up in the Valley and are committed to the community through love, and support.

The Village is already looking at hosting another food drive in February. The group will announce the date, and time of the event within the next few weeks.
